God has blessed us with tremendous musical talent here at Hunters Creek, and there are many ways for children, teens, and adults to use their musical gifts and abilities. Individuals have opportunity to minister through special music or as part of the following groups.
Chapel Choir (Grades 9 – Adult) – Under the direction of Pastor Joel. Our Chapel Choir ministers regularly in the Sunday Morning Services. They also minister through special programs such as our Christmas Musical and Spring Festival of Praise. The choir rehearses on Sunday afternoons from 4:45-5:45 PM throughout the choir season, which runs from September-May.
King’s Kids (Grades 4 – 8) – Under the direction of Pastor Joel. This group prepares a large musical twice a year that includes singing and drama. Rehearsals are on selected Saturdays from September through March, in preparation for the Christmas and Spring Musicals. This is a good time for the children to learn some basics of music as well as being an opportunity to participate in ministry at an early age.
Sonshine Choir (Grades K – 3) – Under the direction of Pastor Joel. This choir practices on Sunday mornings as part of the Children’s Church. Rehearsals start approximately one month before the Christmas and Spring Musicals.
Resounding Joy (Grades 9 – 12) – Under the direction of Sharon Caminiti. Resounding Joy is our youth handbell choir that rehearses on Wednesday evenings after the Student Body meets, from September – April. They minister periodically on Sundays and for special programs.
